MURAL helps you work better.
Companies around the globe, big and small, are using MURAL to collaborate every day. This guide is here to help you get started on the right foot.
If you’re not sure where to start, here are some tips:
- Create a new mural
- Practice navigating around that mural
- Use your rooms
- Check out the example murals
- Resources to learn more
Create a new mural
Learn by doing. Create a new mural in your Personal Room to get acquainted with the tool.
Play around. Try bringing in pictures and links and videos. Collect things you like, things that inspire you. Have some fun.
Think about things you do every day. Or every week. Set up a new mural in a way that is helpful for your day-to-day activities.
Practice navigating around that mural
You can get acquainted with your navigation settings in the bottom-right corner of your mural. Click on the Navigation button to personalize the way you zoom and pan.
Use your rooms
Rooms are like folders for murals so you can keep your projects straight.
Think about projects you’re currently working on, or projects you’ll be working on in the near future. Create rooms for each of these projects. You’ll already have a space set up to add your ideas, or invite people you’re working with.
A note about rooms:
- Private Rooms are just for you: your teammates can only see them if you explicitly invite them. (Your Personal Room is Private.)
- Workspace Rooms are for everyone: everyone in your team can access these rooms.
Check out the example murals
You have a room called Example Murals. Inside are a set of murals that illustrate different uses of MURAL. Explore these murals to get the wheels turning and find some inspiration.
